Rehrig Pacific has developed two types of containers for the modern automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) commonly used in warehouses and distribution centers throughout the world today. Both the Stacking Crate and the Stack/Nest Crate utilize the international 60cm x 40cm external dimensions most commonly specified by project integrators.
Stacking Crate
Straight sided to offer maximum storage space, the Stacking Container is designed for storage and picking systems, not for distribution. The conveyor friendly bottom works with either roller or wheel type conveyors and supports heavy loads even in ledger racks.
Stack / Nest Crate
This container has many of the same features of the Stacking Crate and is the ultimate reusable distribution container as well. With a 2:1 nesting ratio this container reduces backhaul expenses and idle storage space requirements making it the all-in-one container for closed loop distribution and storage systems.
