Adams Beverages needed a more standardized and efficient delivery process across its operations. At several locations, drivers were delivering products on carts or full pallets and manually down-stacking cases onto two-wheel handcarts. Working with Rehrig Pacific, the company introduced the Duo Lift and Duo Pallet, followed by the Duo Merchandiser, to establish a streamlined drop-and-go delivery model that enabled faster store and cooler access with fewer product touches.
The new approach produced significant operational results. Adams Beverages achieved more stops per route, a reduction in delivery costs, and substantial pick savings. The system also reduced manual labor and driver fatigue, and increased warehouse space.
